Egg Preservation

Until recently, it was believed that female fertility remained fairly stable until around the age of 35. New studies, however, have indicated that a women's reproductive potential actually begins to decline in her late twenties and drops dramatically after 35.

Every woman is born with a finite number of eggs. Over time, however, these eggs lose their ability to function properly. The resulting decline in reproductive ability can make it difficult or impossible for a woman to get pregnant at the point in her life when she feels ready to start a family.

Freezing healthy eggs and storing them for future fertilization and implantation is one solution. However, with conventional freezing technology, the process is inefficient in terms of egg survival and pregnancy rate.

To improve the efficiency of egg freezing, the CHA team has developed an innovative technique of flash freezing human eggs. This technique, called vitirification, is currently only available at our Center.

Although it is a new process, CHA's vitirification technique has demonstrated very promising advantages. First and foremost, the successful pregnancy rate is far above that of the conventional method of slow freezing.

CHA's advancements in egg freezing offers patients more "convenience" and "options" in their fertility treatments.
