Donor Egg and Surrogacy Program

When infertility is a result of comprised ovarian function beyond repair, eggs from a selected donor can be used. Once the egg is fertilized with sperm, the resulting embryo can be transferred to the recipient, the patient or to a selected surrogate. The surrogate is only a "uterine host" and is not genetically related to the baby.

For patients utilizing the donor or surrogacy method, "synchronization" of the donor and recipient was always a requirement, causing inconvenience for both parties. If the donor's eggs are frozen sing the CHA freezing technique, the "synchronization" between the donor and recipient is no longer an issue.
